A small pedestrian bridge, scene of a tragic event of the past, binds four generations of women to itself. When Chiara, a shy teenager with a dream of making comics, decides to draw Orlanda and the bridge of the moon (a fairy tale written by her great-grandmother Alice), a series of unexpected synchronicities between the text and her life lead her to discover the truth about her ancestor and in this way to accept the feeling he feels towards one of his classmates.
